There’s something very exciting happening in market places around Australia, Lee Steele visits the Albany Farmers Markets to find out why farmers are moving away from supermarkets and into selling their produce directly.

• Located on Collie Street in Albany, the Albany Farmer’s Market is open from 8am – 12pm every Saturday.
• All produce is grown by the producers within the Great Southern Region.
• The Farmer’s Market creates an opportunity for customers to purchase fresh, local produce whilst educating consumers about how their food is grown and processed.
